2020 was kicked off on a high note for Orient Insurance when all sales staff from island-wide zones gathered in Colombo for the company’s National Sales Conference. The meeting commenced with a high-powered training session conducted by renowned corporate trainer Shehan Mihindukulasooriya. The CEO Mr. Tanuj Edward addressed the gathering in his usual gusto and passion. With a ramped-up mentality, the sales teams sat through the many detailed slides and hear the Head of Distribution, Mr. Rochana Kulatunge, outline the strategy for 2020. It was highlighted in the presentation that broker and leasing partner relationships will be strengthened. The climax of the conference was a Panel Discussion where the company executive committee comprising department heads, discussed key point relating to the business, taking on questions from the audience. The National Sales Conference concluded with another positive note when rewards were given for top performers of the previous event.
